At any age, skin can begin to appear dull and tired due to many factors including; pollution, lack of sleep, unhealthy lifestyle and diet. The Sweet Chill Facial works to renew skin cells using ingredients such as Glycolic Acid, Green Leaf Tea Extract and Papayus Plant Stem Cells.

The Sweet Chill Facial is a 4 step system that works to deeply cleanse, increase cell turnover, hydrate and protect. The two main elements of this treatment use Glycolic Acid and Stem Cells.
Glycolic Acid is an AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) which derives from Sugarcane and works as an exfoliate on the skins to help re-texturise. This hydrates the skin and stimulates cell turnover, increases collagen and elastin, while reducing fine lines, wrinkles, photo damage and releases comedones.
The solution used in Sweet Chill contains 30% Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Lilac Plant Stem Cell and Green Leaf Tea Extract.
The Stem Cell contains performance ingredients including Papyrus Plant Stem Cell, Liquid Ice, Marine Water MicroAlge and Acmella Oleracea Extract. This powerful mask promotes the skin’s own regeneration abilities resulting in a brightened complexion that is deeply nourished. This builds on further hydration and increase in collagen which will in turn soften the skin. Stem Cells work to replenish the skin of vital nutrients to leave it feeling revitalised. After the treatment you will notice a lift and tightness to the skin.

Sweet Chill Facial – The Process
A medical aesthetician will meet with you to understand your concerns and goals. They will carry out an assessment of your skin and take a set of baseline photographs. This can be referred back to throughout your treatment plan to assess the effectiveness of the treatment, and monitor the skin’s improvement.A personalised plan will be recommended based on your skin type and problem areas.
During the treatment once the Glycolic Acid has been applied, you will experience a warm and tingling . If the sensation becomes uncomfortable at any point you can inform the practitioner who will neutralise the area. As you have more treatments your skin will feel more accustomed.
Directly after, you may experience some redness, this means this part of the has been effective.
Next the Stem Cell 3D Mask is applied which will provide a cooling and soothing sensation that will feel very calming to end the treatment.
Once the aftercare products have been applied your skin will feel tight and firm and you may experience some redness and flaking for a few days after the treatment
This peel has minimal downtime. Your skin may feel dry in the days following but will be back to normal within 3-4 days.
After the peel your skin may feel dry, however after 3-4 days after the treatment your skin should look brightened and rejuvenated.
Although you will feel an instant tightness and lift, you may experience slight tenderness and erythema. Some clients some mild flaking 3 days post treatment due to the cell renewal, showing that the treatment is working. If you do not experience any of this, it means your skin is already healthy so you’ll see the brightness and post-treatment glow quicker!
Do avoid exposing your skin to heat or anything that will affect your pores such as exercise, saunas, hot showers and steam rooms for 24 hours after treatment.As part of your aftercare, it’s really important to keep your skin hydrated and protected, especially due to the deep exfoliation this treatment provides.
