Candela Vbeam Laser
The Candela Vbeam pulsed dye laser is used at Harley Street Injectables to treat persistent redness, visible veins and other vascular‑type marks that don’t respond well to creams alone.
VBeam Laser is often chosen by people with rosacea, thread veins or post‑inflammatory redness who want a clearer, calmer-looking complexion without major downtime.
The Science Behind Candela Vbeam Laser
Vbeam is a pulsed dye laser set at 595 nm, a wavelength that is strongly taken up by oxyhaemoglobin in blood vessels. When the light energy is absorbed, the vessel heats up and is damaged in a controlled way so the body can gradually break it down and absorb it, which reduces visible redness over time.
To make treatment more comfortable, the handpiece uses Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) technology that sprays a short burst of cooling mist on the skin before each pulse. This helps protect the surface, lowers the risk of side effects and lets the use effective settings while keeping the skin as comfortable as possible.

YOUR Journey to Enhanced Skin
Vbeam Perfecta works on the principle of selective photothermolysis, meaning the laser energy is aimed mainly at blood inside unwanted rather than the surrounding tissue. As the treated vessels are gradually cleared away over the following weeks, redness and vascular marks usually fade, with many patients noticing a change within a week or two of treatment.
Because the laser fires in short pulses and is paired with cooling, most sessions are described as a series of quick stings or snaps and involve only temporary redness or afterwards. This makes it easier to fit treatment around normal daily plans.
Benefits of VBEAM LASER
Effective Treatment for Redness & Concerns
Vbeam can be used on rosacea‑related redness, broken capillaries, spider veins and some red scars or vascular lesions by directly treating the vessels that cause the colour.
Minimal Discomfort & Downtime
Cooling and careful choice of settings keep most treatments tolerable, and recovery is usually to short‑lived redness, mild swelling or occasional bruising.
Improvements can often be seen after a single session, with further clearing as the body continues to remove treated vessels over a short series of treatments.
EXPERT CARE BY OUR MEDICAL TEAM
At Harley Street Injectables, Vbeam is performed by a medically led team experienced in treating redness‑prone and sensitive skin with vascular lasers. Settings and Fagron Hair DNA testing (https://www.biotidez.com) treatment plans are adjusted to your skin tone, the type of redness or veins being treated and how cautious or intensive you want to be.
PREPARATION AND AFTERCARE
To prepare for your VBeam Laser Treatment, please avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2-4 weeks prior. Discontinue retinol and harsh active skincare products 3-5 days before and avoid blood-thinning medications to minimise bruising. Ensure that your skin is free from active skincare, cold sores, or open wounds. After your treatment, apply SPF 50+ daily, use gentle skincare and avoid hot showers steam and saunas for hours. If needed, cold compresses can help to reduce swelling. For the best results, follow all aftercare instructions provided by our medical team.
FAQs
Is the Vbeam Laser Safe for All Skin Types?
Yes! The Vbeam Laser is FDA-approved and safe for most skin types, particularly fair to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I-III). However, darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV-VI) may require a consultation to assess suitability and avoid risks of pigmentation changes.
Does the Vbeam Laser Hurt?
Most patients describe the sensation as a mild snapping or tingling feeling, similar to a rubber band flick on the skin.
