This is a game that’s definitely best enjoyed with friends, and eventually as part of a guild. Late game activities revolve around guild-to-guild combat and PvE co-operative dungeons. You can tackle these as a solo player – while leveling, progression, and so on can all be achieved solo – but you’ll miss out on a lot of what Throne and Liberty has to offer. Of course, this is all based on footage that I’ve seen from South Korean servers, as I wasn’t able to try these during the pre-release review win
The story from the beginning had me wondering “who am I supposed to be here?”, “what happened to that person?” and many thoughts of “ok this person seems to be up to something sinister”. These thoughts alone are much more than I’ve ever really cared about stories in past MMOs, so I’ll give NCSoft that. The voice over and many cinematics were a great touch to help keep me intrigued and interested in what was happening, rather than reading long quest logs and subtitles.
Each skill can be boosted for a cost. This cost comes in the form of Skill Specialization Points that you earn as you level up. You can expend these points on various enhancements or “specialization effects” for a given skill. Each enhancement comes with a specific cost. So, choose wisely.
Some types of resources also appear in Dungeons, and the same mechanics apply to them there. But the yield of these resource nodes might be better than in the common areas, and the nodes always spawn in the same spots each time the players run a dung
Besides the regular nodes that appear in the map, there are other ways to get certain resources. One of them is by slaying enemies, which occasionally drop items like Leather , Salt, and Magithread. This weapon also has decent mobility options, and can apply debuffs on enemies, increasing the damage output. Your defensive skill while using the Crossbow is a dodge roll, allowing you to take opponents down as you evade their attacks. You can pair this weapon with a Dagger to get a mobility advantage and effectively eliminate single targ
Most of Throne and Liberty is forgiving if you want to play the game your way and worry about optimization later. When it comes to stat point distribution, it’s entirely free to reset your stat points and reallocate them as you wish. You can experiment with stat setups or you can put them where you want until you hit max level and really want to optimize your character for performance.
It’s important to pair skills to create a potent build that’ll help you achieve your goals. For instance, your passive skills can bolster specific active skills when equipped together. Also, you can unlock skills at various levels.
The sword is paired with a shield, which offers players a supremely balanced selection. Survivability is the priority here with a firm defensive posture. However, the damage output with the sword is average at best. Regardless, if you’re looking for longevity and tank-like qualities, this weapons selection may be your best option.
When I play I like to see my DPS (damage per second). I like to see it pitted against the other players in my group to see how I’m performing (Hi damage meters in WoW!), but more importantly and more essential for me is to just at least see my own DPS, I don’t even need to see other people’s. Seeing my own damage output allows me to set benchmarks for myself and set my goals on improving that number and continuing to optimize my setup to push higher and higher. Without something like this, I’m not sure I will remain hooked on the game. Not knowing how much I am contributing to the group makes it feel like I’m just along for the ride and I may not be an important part of the effort.
You can also use this weapon for crowd control via the Sleeping effect, making it ideal for group play, enabling you to enhance your team’s overall performance. For solo play, the Wand & Tome truly shines when combined with other weapons, like the Staff for increased AOE damage or the Sword and Shield for strong support for tank-based gro
In throne And liberty Endgame And Liberty , combat strategy and the weapons you equip play a major role in your overall success. While there aren’t exactly classes in this MMORPG, there are weapons that almost act as classes coming with their own unique skills and enhancements.
